Title of Research Study: Our Mobility, A Mixed-Methods Research Protocol for Measuring Daily Mobility

You are being invited to participate in this research study because you are interested in your personal mobility, are over the age of 18, live in New York City, have a smartphone, and have access to a computer that can connect to the internet. By completing a screening form and online demographic survey on ourmobility.org, you indicated that you are interested in taking part in this study, and have been selected as part of a diverse participant pool.

Purpose: The purpose of this research study is to learn how travel behaviors and experiences vary because of factors like age, race, gender, income, or disability.

Procedures: If you agree to participate, you will be asked to:

1. Install Google Maps and PACO on your phone. Log in with your email address, enable location history, and join a survey in PACO.

2. Answer questions once a day or 3 times a day, and correct your location history in Google Maps for 1 week.

3. At the end of the week, download location files and upload them to this website. Fill out a brief online survey about using the mobile apps.

4. Be part of a 30-minute conference call with other participants to give feedback about the study.
